World Series Fever

Our St. Louis Cardinals are World Series Champions!!! We had a World Series party at my parents' house on Friday night. We were hoping that they would win and they did! The kids (and adults) had so much fun wearing the Cardinals player masks that we printed out. It was a great night. We'll have a lot of fun memories of this event. Go Cardinals!!

Funny Friday #8 - My Crazy Kids!!

I couldn't find Kaedyn last night. Finally I went in our bedroom and heard shrieking from the laundry rack. She had walked over the bar of the rack and was hiding in the pants that were hanging up to dry. She was very proud of herself.

One afternoon, Kaitlyn had us rolling on the floor with laughter. She turned her megaphone upside down, put her foot in it and started walking around the room saying, "Arrgh" like a pirate. It was hilarious!! She is quite creative!

Kyle is very much into doing EVERYTHING by himself. The other day he wanted to get dressed. He went into his room and came out looking like this. My little future executive! :)

Funny Friday #7 - Trying to get a group photo

This picture was taken during my 10 year reunion at William Jewell College last weekend. Trying to get 20 people together for a group shot is nearly impossible. This picture was taken when we weren't QUITE ready. :) Can you tell what I was saying to Kyle & Kaitlyn? "Both of you just look up and smile. We're almost done." :)

Funny Friday #6 - The Birthday Girl

These are some of my favorite pictures from Kaedyn's 1st Birthday party that we had last Sunday. I couldn't pick just one! She had a great time at her party. As my sister said, "three party hats - what more could a one year old ask for?" There were 40 people at the party. It was a beautiful day and kids of all ages enjoyed jumping in the inflatable castle. Kaedyn also enjoyed her cake!

Happy 1st Birthday Kaedyn!

Kaedyn enjoyed her 1 pancake this morning. I asked her how old she was and she showed me "1." The tradition of making the kids a pancake in the shape of how old they are on their birthday continues.
Funny Friday #5 - Ma and Pa

This picture is so funny that I couldn't resist putting it on the Blog for my Funny Friday photo this week. Mom and Dad, you are good sports!
Last Friday, we went to Eckert's in Grafton to pick apples. The kids had so much fun playing there. Kyle was trying to pet the goats when one of them let out a sound. He turned, started running and yelled, "Run for your lives!" We couldn't stop laughing!

It was a beautiful afternoon. We rode the ferry boats to get there and the kids thought that was great fun.
