The Johnson Journal

This picture was taken at our recent Johnson family reunion. Kyle and his cousin Ian were having a great time at the bonfire. I know they both ate quite a few marshmallows that night!

This is one of the strangest things I've seen! A couple weeks ago we were coming home from being out of town and we couldn't go down the street to get to our house because it was blocked off by a police car. We had no idea what was going on. When we went down another street and got to the part that was blocked off, we saw the problem. The street had completely buckled! They had just replaced this part of the street the week before. We were told later that it had gotten so hot that it just buckled. I wondered if we had a small earthquake or something! Very strange!

Kaedyn is very good at entertaining herself. She can play for hours with her Barbies or My Little Ponies. She does all the voices and has a blast. On this particular day she had her grocery cart all loaded up and ready for a morning of fun. I especially like her hair in this picture. She must have done it by herself!

Kyle's soccer coach e-mailed out the team picture this week. Kyle's cousin, Caleb, was at the game with Grandma and somehow he happened to make the team picture. You can see him peeking over Kyle's shoulder. I thought this was so funny!

I can't believe I have a first grader now! Kaitlyn grew quite a bit this year too. However she was able to wear the same pair of tennis shoes all year but they are pretty worn out. :)

For Kara's 30th Birthday on June 2nd, Daniel asked people to participate in a "Virtual Suprise Party" by sending videos that he would compile and show her on her birthday. The kids had a great time putting together funny videos for their Aunt Kara. Here are just a few of my favorites.
