The snack drawer has been a tradition for the past few years at Nana and Paw Paw's house. Before we leave their house, each of the kids gets to pick out a snack from the snack drawer. The kids love it and they usually try to sneak out more than one snack. This picture is funny because Kyle couldn't pause even for a second to look at the camera. He was much too interested in picking out his snack!
All 7 (we found out that night that it will be 8, congratulations Kristen & Kraig!) of the Johnson cousins with Grandpa at our Father's Day celebration. Grandpa & Grandma will have 8 grandchildren all age 6 and under next year. Wow!!

We had a special Father's Day this year. The girls and I wore matching dresses. I had always wanted to have mother/daughter dresses. :) We gave Daddy breakfast in bed and we had lunch with Nana and PawPaw. We spent the afternoon napping and swimming. It was a great day!
The night before we celebrated Father's Day with the whole Johnson family.

Kaitlyn had her friend Emma over last week. The girls were playing in Kaitlyn's room and told me I couldn't come in. When they came out, they all had bows in their hair and they had given Kaedyn a bow and some sunglasses. They were so cute! I felt sorry for Kyle though because he had no one to play with. The girls put a sign on their door that said, "No Boys Allowed! Sorry!" Hey, at least they were nice about it. :)
Don't ask me why but the other day Kaitlyn said, "Mommy, watch Kaedyn make her Hebrew face." She comes up with some unique names for Kaedyn's many faces but I think this one takes the cake for sure!

Thought you might enjoy a little reminder of home. Can we squeeze in a trip here when you're home in the fall?
First Day of Pre-K -- September 6, 2006
Last Day of Pre-K -- May 25, 2007
Kaitlyn with her teacher, Mrs. Aman.
Kaitlyn's Pre-K class had an end of the year party at Chuck E. Cheese. This is a picture of Kaitlyn with her friend, Anna.
Jeanette, do you remember this outfit? I came across it the other day and tried it on Kaedyn. The kids had fun calling her "Lil Princess." :)
Kaitlyn and Kyle recently finished taking the Seahorse level of swimming lessons. This is a picture of them with their instructor "Mr. Will." He was really great with the kids and they love swimming!

We had such a fun weekend with our friends from Omaha. Sophie made some quick friends in Kaitlyn, Kyle and Kaedyn. They loved having a baby around the house. Even after they left on Sunday morning, Kaedyn was going around the house calling "Sophie."
Kaedyn insists on feeding herself. She will not allow anyone to help her with a spoon or fork. Thankfully I decided on letting the kids have their dessert outside on this particular day. After I took this picture, Kaedyn went straight to the bathtub! I washed the dress right away and all the pudding came out, amazing!!

This picture was taken at Caleb's 4th birthday party a few weeks ago. The kids emptied out the toy boxes and took turns being a jack in the box. I couldn't resist putting this cute picture on the blog today.
