Kaitlyn graduated from preschool on Tuesday night. We had a party for her after the graduation ceremony. I had the kids pose with these graduation hats on. The Carr boys were good sports! It was a special night as many family members (Jeanette, we consider you family, you know) came to help her celebrate the occasion.
I forgot to post a Funny Friday last week but here it is today. Last Friday, we went to see my Mom in the Blackhurst School Parade. She got to ride in a convertible with another retiring teacher. She is so excited to be retiring! She only has 1/2 day of school left and then she will be officially RETIRED!! She has taught for many years and is looking forward to being able to travel with my Dad and come to the kids many activities.
I have been Coordinator of our Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group for the past 2 1/2 years. This week was the final MOPS meeting that I was in charge of. I am looking forward to taking a break from leadership.
This is a picture of the kids with "Granny MOP." Grandma is in charge of the MOPPETS program and she dresses up as Granny MOP to lead music at each meeting for the kids. MOPS is a family event for sure. Two of my sister-in-laws are in MOPS and another one of my sister-in-laws teaches the children in MOPPETS. She was Kyle's teacher this year. My Aunt also participates in MOPS. It is a great ministry.
