Kara and Ethan's Visit - June 2009

On June 19th Kara and Ethan came to visit us for a few days. Daniel had to attend a conference so they came to see us. We had such a good visit! The kids were so excited to see Ethan because they hadn't seen him since Thanksgiving. He had grown so much!
Ethan didn't know quite what to think about his cousins.

Kaitlyn had so much fun feeding Ethan.

Open wide!

What a cutie!

Kyle was so excited to get to show Ethan his new room.

Father's Day 2009

Paw Paw got to spend Father's Day with all of his grandchildren

The kids prepared breakfast in bed for Daddy on Father's Day

Kyle's New Room

All cleared out and ready to be painted
The border is up!

The furniture is moved back in after being painted

One happy boy glad to be in his new room
(his loft bed was and is still being sanded and clear coated)
Kyle's room used to be Kaitlyn's room. When the room was Kaitlyn's, it was a Ladybug Room. We had little ladybug wallies stuck on the walls. When Kyle moved into the room a couple years ago, the ladybugs were peeled off with plans to change it into a St. Louis Cardinals room at some point. I promised Kyle that he would have his Cardinals room by the time he started Kindergarten so in early June when he was at summer camp, I got started on the transformation.

Funny Friday #110 - Kaedyn's 4th Birthday Pictures

A couple weeks ago I took Kaedyn to get her 4 year birthday pictures taken at JC Penney. She really wanted to dress herself for the pictures. She told me that she would get dressed and come out ready to go. I was a bit worried about that and my fears came true when she came out wearing this! Needless to say I did not let her get her pictures taken in this outfit. After a 20 minute temper tantrum I managed to get her in a picture appropriate outfit. I was glad that the pictures really did turn out well.

Funny Friday #109 - Toothless

Kaedyn was eating pizza the other day and she smiled at me. She had gotten a black olive stuck on her front tooth and it made for quite a funny smile!
