Funny Friday #33 - Caught You, Kaedyn!

Kaedyn is a pen magnet! She finds them all over the house and draws wherever she can. There are currently drawings on the refrigerator and coffee table. Her latest canvas was her leg. What am I going to do with her???

Funny Friday #32 - The Johnson Bunnies

I meant to post this a couple weeks ago but forgot. The kids received these cute bunny ears from one of Mommy's college roommates, Heather. They loved wearing them around the house pretending they were bunnies. :) Thanks, Miss Heather!

Kyle Story of the Day

This afternoon we were coming home from Pre-K and we pulled into the garage. Kaitlyn got out of her seat and was walking around the back of the van. She started screaming saying, "There's a bug! There's a giant bug!" Immediately Kyle jumped into action. He ran around the back of the van and stomped on the beatle several times. He said, "Well, we won't be seeing anymore of that guy!" Brother to the rescue! Kaitlyn thanked her little brother for saving the day!

Funny Friday #31 - Kyle as "The Lone Stranger"

I bought the kids the new Veggies Tales DVD called "Moe and the Big Exit" for Easter. I pre-ordered it from our local Christian bookstore and they gave me this free gift. Kyle loves wearing it around the house pretending he is "the lone stranger" from the movie. If you haven't seen the movie, "the lone stranger" is Moses.

Funny Friday #30 - Kara, Does this bring back any memories?

I thought I had a great idea the other night. Kaitlyn was having her Pre-K graduation pictures taken last week. I thought I could be a step ahead of the game by putting her hair in rollers the night before. Kara and I used to sleep in these sponge rollers practically every Saturday night growing up.

The rolling it up part wasn't a problem but about 10 minutes after I put Kaitlyn to bed, I heard her whimpering. I went in to see what the problem was and she said they were too tight. I loosened them up and left the room. A few minutes later she started crying again. I finally gave up and took them out. It turned out to not be a great idea. We were running late the next morning because I had to curl her hair with the curling iron but we did end up making it to school on time and the pictures turned out great.
