I just love this face! I told Kara that Ethan reminds me of one of those little dogs with all the wrinkles in this picture. I'm not sure she appreciated that comment! :)

Spending Time With Ethan...

Tonight, Daniel and Kara's church gave them a Baby Shower at the Pastor's house. Ethan was the centerpiece. He slept for the first half hour.

Ethan & Aunt Krista!!

I'm finally HERE!! I flew into Midland this afternoon. The plan was for me to meet Kara outside of baggage claim. I was quite surprised to arrive and find her with Ethan inside the airport waiting for me. Ethan even had a welcome sign for me. :) What a special surprise!!

Funny Friday #96 - The Spider

We went to The Butterfly House with my friend Heather over Labor Day weekend. They had quite a display of insects, spiders, etc. Kyle was absolutely terrified of this tarantula that was in this cage. I had a hard time even getting him to stand close enough to it to take a picture. This is a picture of complete fear on his face!

Kaitlyn's School Picture Day

Yesterday was school picture day for Kaitlyn. I took her picture right before she left for school. Our 7 year old is really growing up! She's lost two teeth now and the top two are pretty wiggly. She was really hoping to lose one of them before picture day but that didn't happen.

Kaitlyn had a very nice 7th birthday yesterday. Mommy even took her a special lunch from Steak n Shake to school and had lunch with her. Thank you to Grandma for staying with Kyle and Kaedyn so Mommy could do this. It was very special! Kaitlyn took Krispy Kreme donuts and juice bottles to her first grade class to celebrate her special day.

Proud Cousins!

Kaitlyn and Kyle both took pictures of cousin Ethan to school today for show and tell. Kyle was the "star of the day" at school and they are doing "A" week so he had to take three items to share: he took an airplane bank given to him by his "Uncle" Corey, a container of applesauce and a picture of his "A"unt Kara and Cousin Ethan. When Kyle got home from school, he said, "everybody thought the picture of Aunt Kara and Ethan was soooo cute!"

Funny Friday #95 - Kaedyn & Heather

Silly faces!! I did warn Heather that this picture had earned it's place on "Funny Friday" prior to posting it. :) My college roommate, Heather, visited us over Labor Day weekend. Keith was in Texas with my parents. We all had a great time visiting the zoo, the drive-in, the movie theater and The Butterfly House. I will post more pictures from Heather's visit soon.
