The Johnson Journal

It seems like we've been celebrating for a month now. Kaitlyn turned 5 on Monday. She was up bright and early and had all her presents opened by 8:00 a.m.! It's a tradition for me to make the kids a pancake in the number birthday they're having on their special day. I know this one looks more like an "S" than a "5" but it was hard to flip it without having it break.

Later in the day we went to Chuck E. Cheese's to celebrate her big day. The kids all had a great time playing there.





Afterwards we went to Chevy's for dinner. We love going there to celebrate birthdays because they actually sing to you, put a sombero on your head and give you dessert. Not many places still do that these days.

It was another special day! We still can't believe she's 5 years old.
