Kaitlyn's 6th Birthday Party

Kaitlyn's Palm Tree cake (Mommy didn't make it this year due to her toe injury - Nana and her friend Jackie took care of the cake for Mommy - THANK YOU!!)We had a wonderful birthday party for Kaitlyn on Sunday. It was a well attended party with 26 adults and 18 children. Everyone had fun swimming and eating. Kaitlyn received many nice presents. She told me on the way home, "Mommy, that was the best party that anyone could ever have." I think she had fun! :)

What a fun birthday! I can't believe that Kaitlyn is six already! The cake and cupcakes turned out really cute. It looks like everyone had a great time!
Just a random thought -- I know kids love piñatas but do they seem creepy to anyone else besides me? (beat the hula girl until she explodes and then eat her insides!) Yikes! I wonder who ever came up with that idea.
